Tony T is a recent addition to the team at Solid Radio. We caught up with him to find out a bit more about the man and mystery.

So, Tony, lets start with the basics. Tell us a bit about yourself.

Nottingham-well I was born in Nottingham but I was raised in Ilkeston. I’m proud to call myself a Nottingham lad.

I’m currently working in retail but have spent most of my working life in warehousing and logistics. My ambition is to open a music cafe.

Got any talents, hidden or otherwise?

I like to paint (abstract art mainly) and write poetry-I’m told I have a way with words.

Very creative! What’s you’re favorite choice of food?

Good old fish and chips, a quality cheese burger, cheese ham onion and pickle sandwiches.

Sounds delicious. Are you a reader at all?

Yes, other than my social media feeds I always have an autobiography on the go.

Nice. When you’re not locked down, where’d you like to go?

New York City, Hollywood and Vancouver

What are you watching on the telly?

Schitts Creek, comedy drama and of course BT Sport when super Chelsea are playing.

No comment there! With this being radio, what’s your favorite band?

I’m a self-confessed Bowie addict, Foo Fighters,The Clash and the Manic Street Preachers. I was raised on a diet of glam rock, punk and pop. I listen to jazz,rock and always promote new music by up and coming artists.
